To tell you the truth, we’ve been losing sleep trying to decide how to present the topic of domestic violence in a way that makes a difference. By “make a difference” we mean making family life in our country safer from acts of violence by husbands and boyfriends against wives, girlfriends and children.
Hopefully, this incident and those described in Chapter 10 of our book will give the reader an effective method of dissuading possible assailant/predators without running the risk of being charged with a crime.
